A couple of days ago we visited the eMetrics Summit here in Berlin. This
conference is one of the leading events for digital analytics and data science
in the online industry.
Here we joined discussions how data science and marketing automation is
changing the playing field for data analysts.
As always such an event is not
only about sitting in a room listening to talks, many interesting discussions
and background talks took place in the hallways and over coffee ☕☕☕.
Our VP of Analytics Christian Schlieker joined the ranks of conference
speakers and gave a presentation about Fraud Detection in Affiliate Campaigns.
In his talk he presented how marketing analyst can use both technical signals
and user behavior data to detect abnormal behavior and protect their
campaigns against Affiliate Fraud.
We really enjoyed the event and are looking forward to the eMetrics next
year π.
