Covered in paint, pumped up with adrenaline, sounds like a typical team

After solving riddles in the room escape game in the last team-event, us SEA-people decided to go for something slightly more action packed this time around. Which is why, about an hour into the evening, we found ourselves covered in paint, pumping with adrenaline, and our nervous fingers on the trigger of our markers, eagerly waiting for someone to leave their cover. It was paintball time! With parts of the Product-Team and Admins joining the fun, we headed out to PaintGalaxy, to settle our work-discussions once and for all.

And we did. Over the course of around 2 hours, several matches with mixed teams took place. Just about 6000 bullets of paint later, it was time for us to swap our markers for beers and indulge in the rich culinary offers found on the paintball-halls menu.

While the beers were being emptied and the adrenaline slowly subsided, the evening ended peacefully with us joyfully recapping the first paintball experience for most of our members. Definitely a worthy team-event!

(Pre-) Tag der Deutschen Einheit Beer Friday

Last Friday we (pre-) celebrated the German Reunification aka Tag der Deutschen Einheit DP-style! If the amount of German flags did not fully ensure that everyone knew we were celebrating Germany, the endless Schlager playlist surely did the trick. After some Germanized pizza and sushi we watched the greatest Swedish martial arts comedy short film ever made about fighting the evil Germans, of course. Beer and Schlager music prolonged the evening till the early morning hours so that we actually celebrated Tag der Deutschen Einheit on the 3^rd of October.

summerPARTY

We had a blast at this year’s Digital Performance Summer Party.

The weather was good – thankfully it didn’t start raining, the locations was great – right by the Spree and next to the beautiful Oberbaumbrücke, the food was delicious – BBQ that offered anything you could possibly want ... even Thüringer Rostbratwurst, and of course drinks, drinks, drinks – from girly welcome drinks to manly long drinks, as well as some rather unexpected but well practiced dance moves as the evening progressed.

Overall, we had an amazing time and thanks to Flo for providing us with a selfie stick we also have some incredible pictures.
